Deciding to open a second location within the same neighborhood as their first, our clients wanted this new shop to create a statement, placing them within the ranks of more well known ice cream parlors around New York City. Taking inspiration from the shape, colors, and texture of a scoop of ice cream, the interior of this shop is meant to wake the child in all of us. The round edged bar brings forth the conceptual background of the design while making the already narrow space more navigable. Every square inch of this space was considered through the lens of a customer, as well as a worker, aiming to make eating and working as enjoyable as possible.

This project is completed and open for business! Photography by Perry Hall for Handwerk.
