Hello! My name is Angela Bouton and I am an Interior Designer based in Brooklyn, NY.
A little about myself, I received my MFA from the Pratt Institute in May of 2019 and have been working at a small firm in Brooklyn since.
I have a uniquely diverse background outside of the design field, having completed my undergraduate studies in Anthropology, Cognitive Science, and Art History, I tend to approach each of my projects with a multidisciplinary eye. I believe that by understanding human nature, perception, and culture, we can create more holistic and interesting spaces that people want to inhabit. By looking to historic elements of art and design for inspiration, I believe our own designs can only be elevated to new, forward-thinking levels. I am very inspired by vintage design, and love to mix vintage and contemporary elements in my projects. While my concepts can be quite creative and ambitious, the final projects are always organized and conscious of the smallest details.
