Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in an art gallery? Well, that is exactly what we asked ourselves with this space. Located just around the corner from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this home is meant to feel like an extension of the iconic museum. Home to an avid art collector, every space is heavily considered, creating blank (or not so blank) spaces to beautifully display the collection at hand. With custom millwork and exaggerated lighting, the canvases aren’t the only art in this space.

The entry vestibule welcomes you into the space with vintage decor and an Italian chandelier.
The Warhol Wall.
Just to the left of the entry is the magnificent living room. Detailed with Parisian inspired wall moldings and displaying the pop of color in the Warhol collection, this space meshes old and new.
Small custom library nook utilizes what would be dead space in the old architecture of the New York building.
Guess bathroom adds a pop of orange to the end of the dimly lit green hallway.
The main guest room is modeled after Japanese homes with the custom wood and fabric wall panels. The rice paper lamps add a lovely glow into this tranquil bedroom.
The master bathroom evokes a sense of luxury and calm away from the busy streets of New York.
The crowning glory of this apartment has to be the kitchen. Completely refreshed and custom, this kitchen takes a narrow space and transforms it into a chef's kitchen.
With Concrete Collaborative terrazzo flooring and green quartzite countertops, this punchy and vibrant kitchen is the talk of the dinner party.
Custom shallow cabinetry acts as the perfect display for the owners vast glass collection.
The additional bathroom adjacent to another guest bedroom adds even more flare with another terrazzo floor and a muted blue tile.
